Meet the Team: Nabih Dahik
Tell us about yourself.
My name is Nabih Dahik. I am originally from Quito, Ecuador. I love to travel and so far I have been in 22 countries. I have been working in higher education since I graduated from college in 2016.
Tell us what you were doing before you came to NC State/GTI.
I was doing a master’s program at Georgetown University in Washington DC.
Tell us what you do in a few sentences.
I am a program coordinator working primarily with South American partners. I coordinate programs in order to promote NC State and North Carolina in the region. Mostly I am working with professional programs in Colombia and trying to expand to other countries such as Argentina, Chile, Peru and Ecuador.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I like to play and watch soccer. I enjoying doing all type of sports and hiking. I love to spend time with my family dogs back in Ecuador.
What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?
That I have about 50 jerseys from my soccer team in Ecuador.
