Program Overview
All students enroll in the four-class Core Program to craft a Personal Statement and build a strong foundation for college application success. Students then have the option to tailor their Admissions Academy experience through a variety of Enhancements to suit their unique needs.
Core Program
Writing Class: Tell Your Story What do I write about? What are admissions counselors looking for? How do I stand out from other applicants? What makes the college essay so different? From brainstorming to submission, students will receive step-by-step hands-on instruction in developing, drafting, editing and polishing their Personal Statements for the Common App, as well as learn key strategies and tips for crafting compelling personal narratives.
By course end, students should have a completed personal statement for submission to Common App, along with the tools and strategies for further edits and polish if needed, and writing skills and guidelines for completing further application materials.Four (4) 90-minute sessions of live, online instruction Navigating the College Application Process How do I best support my application? What mistakes do people make on Common App? Do I need to answer the optional essays? Step-by-step instruction from an experienced college counselor on completing the application process and avoiding common pitfalls. Asynchronous recording with live Q&A scheduled within class time
Optional Essay Coaching (Recommended)

| Students work in live, one-on-one sessions with experienced college essay coaches to apply what they’ve learned in the group class to revise and refine their personal statements and supplemental essays. Essay coaching is scheduled in tandem with the group class to support and implement tasks, but students may choose to use their coaching time for supplemental materials. |
| A minimum of five (5) hours of online one-on-one coaching is recommended. Additional coaching beyond 5 hours available on an hourly basis. |

Full Core Program (Class + 5 Hours Essay Coaching): $900*
Class Only: $350
Five Hours Essay Coaching (Add-on): $600*
*$50 discount for Full Core Program purchased in advance. Essay coaching may be added at any time within 2 weeks of program end. Essay coaching only available to Class participants.

Enhancements
Supplemental Essay Writing Classes Tailored for students applying to universities with additional essay requirements (ex: Ivy League, University of California system, STEM-focused schools, common supplements) Choose 1-4 supplemental workshops

Application Requirements
- Currently enrolled in high school (Class is intended for rising seniors currently applying to universities, but rising grade 11 or higher may be accepted)
- English proficiency minimum score requirements for international students:
- TOEFL IBT 75
- IELTS 6.0
- Duolingo 95
