Megan Williams
Bio
Megan Williams is an international programs coordinator who works with the KGSP Foundation Year program, engagement in Latin America and various other programs.
Megan Williams joined GTI in January 2023 as an International Programs Coordinator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Meredith College, where she studied education as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow and worked at the Meredith Autism Program. Prior to joining GTI, Megan taught elementary school in Wake County and abroad. In 2019, she earned her master of education (M.Ed) from the University of Florida with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction.
Megan’s interest in international education began with a study abroad program in Perugia, Italy during her time at Meredith. This short summer program inspired a 12-year stint teaching in US embassy-affiliated schools in China and Peru as well as personal travels around Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Megan is excited to be back in Raleigh to work with the increasingly diverse Wolfpack community.
