Becky Cibulskis is the international programs specialist who supports the SKEMA program and coordinates the GTI’s student programming and cross-cultural competency development. She is the staff advisor for Cultural Exchange Network (CENet) and the Better Together Interfaith Student Organization.
Becky Cibulskis graduated from Clemson University in upstate South Carolina in 2014 with a degree in Language & International Trade. As an undergraduate, Becky studied German and Mandarin languages and culture and earned a minor in Economics. In addition to playing Baritone in Tiger Band, Becky represented Clemson University during study and internship programs in China and Germany, including serving as a Student Ambassador to Clemson University for BMW Group in Munich, Germany. She developed her interest in international education after directly supporting the ACE Internationalization Lab and other initiatives under the Vice Provost for Global Engagement during her senior year at Clemson.
Becky started her professional career as an International Programs Assistant at NC State University in January of 2015. In this position she has worked to support international initiatives and cultural competence development for students and professionals from around the globe. Her interests include professional development, intercultural communication, diversity & inclusion initiatives and sustainable development. Becky is currently pursuing a Masters degree in International Studies from the NC State School of Public and International Affairs. She will graduate in 2020 and plans to focus her studies on international policy and global governance.
