Orientation Part 1(Self-paced)
All Spring 2021 SKEMA Raleigh students (new and returning) should read through the following Orientation Topics:

The Wolfpack One Card is the official ID card for NC State. All SKEMA students will need the Wolfpack One Card for access to NC State facilities such as the library, the fitness center, the student health center, and various academic buildings.

As members of the NC State student community, SKEMA Raleigh students are expected to follow our legal guidelines for behaviroal and academic integrity. All SKEMA students are subject to the NC State Code of Student Conduct. This Code contains information related to the university’s jurisdiction over student behavior, academic and non-academic violations, sanctions available when a violation occurs, and information regarding interim suspension.
- Academic violations include cheating, plagiarism, or aiding another to cheat or plagiarize.
- Non-academic violations vary widely and include rules concerning alcohol, drugs, infliction or threat of bodily harm, vandalism, disorderly conduct, sexual and racial harassment, sexual assault, and more.
ACTION: All students are strongly encouraged to read and understand the Code of Student Conduct.

As a student at NC State University, your email and student account will be managed by the NC State Office of Information Technology. All official university communication will occur using your designated @ncsu.edu Gmail account. We encourage all students to check this daily, and to use it for your messaging with NC State offices, courses and students. Adding your @ncsu.edu Gmail account to your Facebook profile will also unlock access to campus-sponsored organizations.

As you’ll learn soon, campus life is an extremely important and unique aspect of the US Higher Education experience. Because the semester is already underway for most local students, you’ll have to act fast to find ways to meet people and to get involved. - Wellness and Recreation opened their newest Wellness and Recreation Center in October. The 80,000 square-foot facility includes additional fitness space, a new climbing center and central access points.
