Local businesses, history, and culture are showcased throughout the month of September as new SKEMA Raleigh students explore off-campus locales as part of our cross-cultural course on US American Culture and Business. The GTI is grateful for our campus and community partners who opened their doors to sixteen site visits this semester!
These site visits provide a key component of the course, which provide experience learning opportunities to SKEMA students in their first semester in Raleigh. Students learn from a diverse set of local experts, network with the local community, and consider the historic and cultural perspectives of North Carolina industries. Students reflect on the cultural implications and business applications related to what was learned during the visit in class assignments.
